Booking and enrolment process

​

1. Booking: In order to book a course your course fee, email and phone number is required. Advance payment is required for all courses and the booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received. If your fee is not received your place on the course may be cancelled.

2. Enrolment: Once your fee and details have been received you will receive an enrolment email and can begin the online theory element of the course. This can be studied at your own pace and takes an average of 20 hours to complete. In case of any questions you have regarding the online element please contact The Beauty Guild. In case of any questions you have regarding the practical assessment day(s) please contact Wonderland Wellbeing.

3. The practical assessment day(s): during the enrolment process you will choose your practical day(s). The online theory element must be completed prior to the practical day(s). If you have been unable to complete the online theory element prior to the practical you may change your course date no later than 14 days before the start of the course. Changing the course date less than 14 days before the start of the course will incur a £50 fee. The practical day should be undertaken within 6 months from enrolment, except in extenuating circumstances. 
 

Terms and conditions

Cancellation: In the event of cancellation by a student the full course fee is lost, except in the event of illness. If you are unable to attend due to illness, you must inform us as soon as possible. A doctor's letter will be required to request a change of course date.

Failure to attend a course: If you fail to attend a course without notice the full course fee is lost.
 

Change of course date: the practical course date can be changed no later than 14 days before the course date. For changes made with less than 14 days notice, a charge of £50 will be made.

Delayed courses: all courses must be taken within 6 months of the booking fee being paid. Any longer delay in taking the courses will result in the full course fee being forfeited.

Home study courses will not be refunded.

Assessment of courses: the courses are undertaken in a supportive and encouraging environment designed to develop confidence. The vast majority of students will pass their course on the day. However, occasionally it may be necessary to deem that the student has not reached competency. In this situation, students will need to return for extra practice of a treatment/routine and re-assessment. An extra charge will be made for this

Courses with 1 student: in the event that there is only one student I will endeavour to find a model for you to practice on and have a list of volunteers whom I can call upon, or you are welcome to invite a friend of family member provided they have no contraindications. You will receive an email regarding contra-indications relevant to the procedure you are learning. It is the responsibility of the student to check contra-indications carefully before the day of training. 

If you request 1:1 training an extra charge of £50 per day will be made.

Timing of courses: Timing of classes can and do end earlier/later than stated depending on size, even or odd student numbers and other factors. If it is a one to one, we often finish earlier.

​

Insurance: All of our courses are accredited by GTi who offer full insurance cover for all of our qualifications. GTi courses meet the National Occupational Standards (NOS). They are fully accredited and accepted by most insurance providers. It is the student's responsibility to check with their own insurance provider that they will recognise GTi courses.
